Senior Medal Final

The 2013 “Senior Medal Final” will be contested on Sunday – 22nd September. Ladbrokes probably don’t have this on their books (yet!), but there’s no odds-on favourite. Will K.J. take home the coveted trophy – or perhaps “Brownie” might delight the home crowd with a win. Reputations are at stake, some putters have been re-shaped (after the last round!), it’s been heard that some of the old blokes even have new balls for the occasion (that’s a first for a long time!) – but rest assured it will be a hot contest under the “Ben”.

Medal Final results

Division 1. Winner of the 2013 Medal Final was Duncan Rodger with net 68 (73 – 5), well played Duncan. In second place was David MacPherson with nett 71 (79 – 8) and in third place was Eric Wallace with nett 74 (80 – 6).

Division 2. Winner was Keith Sangster with nett 76 (90 – 14), second was John D. MacPhee with nett 77 (92 – 15) and in third place was Willie Hendry with nett 77 (94 – 17).

That’s it for this year (as far as the Monthly Medals are concerned!), congratulations to all the Medal finalists’ and indeed – all the members. Don’t forget that there are a few competitions left, so don’t go hiding your clubs for the “winter” just yet…
